Roberto Ramos

Roberto Ramos

Massage Therapist

Roberto offers 30 minutes, 45-minute, 60-minute, and 90-minute massages and our patients can select from the following types of massages. Our patients are advised to select the duration of massage they would like and then can select what type of massage they would like including relaxation, therapeutic, sports or cupping treatment.

After 20 years working as a personal trainer, Roberto felt that massage was always around him, most clients always asked if it was possible to have a massage after the training session, He always did it based on anatomical knowledge but it wasn’t enough and for that was kept limited in what he could treat and how much he could help his clients.

When he arrived in Australia after working in some areas, he decided it was time to take a massage course and immerse himself entirely in the work of a therapist.

It really was the right decision for him. He states that helping people is priceless, seeing the satisfaction and relief of clients after the session is a unique and special moment.

When Roberto is not working he is always involved in sports including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, surfing and cycling.

Book in with Roberto for all of your massage requirements.

SWIFT therapySWIFT Microwave Wart Therapy is a pioneering treatment that is exclusive to the podiatry profession and provides a precise, efficient and effective way of safely treating verruca lesions on both upper and lower limbs. This treatment is of minimal fuss and allows local precision without damaging healthy tissue. There are many benefits to the patient, including no dressings or change in activities, significant pain reduction and improved overall comfort post-treatment. SWIFT has a number of proposed effects, including the ability to facilitate the immune response to recognise Human Papillomavirus. This is achieved by transforming virally infected cells into a state of stress by heating the tissue to 42-45 degrees. This hyperthermic range causes the release of the ‘danger signalling’ heat shock proteins from virally infected cells, which includes the maturation of Langerhan’s cells and enhances their migration to the lymph nodes. Cytotoxic T-cells migrate to the epidermis and begin to destroy all virally infected cells (Bristow et al, 2007).
